Why Most TFAM Demos Fail
Why Most TFAM Demos Fail
Purpose of This Lesson
To help you stop repeating common demo mistakes.
1.1 The Typical (Wrong) Demo Pattern
Many demos start like this:
- Login screen
- Menus and settings
- Asset categories
- Configuration options
- Reports
- “Any questions?”
This fails because:
- The customer is still translating value
- Attention drops quickly
- The demo becomes a comparison exercise
Rule:
If the customer is thinking “How does this work?” instead of “This fixes our problem”, the demo is failing.
1.2 What a Demo Is Actually For
A TFAM demo is not:
- A product tour
- A training session
- A technical walkthrough
A TFAM demo is:
A visual confirmation that the customer’s pain can be solved safely and sustainably.
Reflection Question
Have you ever finished a demo and the customer asked only about price?
That means value was not anchored.
